Patsy's is the perfect execution of what you think of when you think of a NY slice. There's not much else to say. We came at opening and ordered a pie; I paid the guy $13 in cash; he said "give me five minutes; I went back five minutes later and got the pie. No bullshit. The pie wasn't special. There's not much to remark on. Everything was normal. They perfected the execution of the NY slice, and that's a really good thing. Tourists should go here.

This is the best thin crust pizza Uptown! Please sit down and be patient. We also added their house salad fried zucchini and fried Calamari. I e been eating here for over 50 years! Now let that be your guide.

Old school place , is still here ! Their Togo spot is basically like ordering a slice or a pie and they have the old school ovens here ! There slices are still cheap here ! At $2.50 per slice , again the crust is a bit hard when you get towards the end ! But nevertheless it's good here , no seats here just a window to watch first ave uptown!

Had the clam pie today. The crust was phenomenal. This will be a go-to pizza order that I keep coming back for and revisiting in my dreams. Nice savory morsels of clam on a charred, crispy, chewy, and impossibly thin crust. Such a dream.

Patsy's is consistently one of the all time great pizza spots, not just in NYC but in America (if not the world). Their pies are super thin with a perfect balance of crisp and minimal flop. The sauce is bright and balanced, and they use just the right amount of cheese. And while the toppings are all high quality, this pizza is so perfectly balanced, I always recommend going with a plain pie. Salads (especially the Caesar) are all very good and compliment the pizza nicely. Service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant has a great vibe: it is an authentic piece of NYC history, barely changed over the decades (phone booth, massive porcelain urinals in the men's room, etc.). In some ways it is a living museum (which is good), down to the portrait of Frank Sinatra, who was a fan and reportedly had Patsy send pizza out to Vegas on a regular basis. Patsy's also sells by the slice if you are solo or just looking for a quick snack, something that few of the other top-ranked pizza joints offer. One note is that they are cash only, so be prepared. And very important: the original location in East Harlem is by far the best, far superior to the more convenient outpost locations, so make the trek...you will be glad that you did!

Great sauce, quick service. In and out slice shop. One of the best prices in Manhattan. This is coal fired pizza that is not burned like they do in Connecticut. If you like it well done then ask. No seats, not fancy but you can stand and eat your slice. Very casual. This is the pizza only spot not the restaurant next door which I've had 2 bad experiences there. I'll stick to the pizza

First time coming here. Very cozy and homey spot on 1st....seated right away on a Saturday night. Received warm welcome from the staff, friendly and quick service. Got half pepperoni and half cheese 17" pizza. The pizza is thin crust, so fluffy, has a nice char and just the right amount of oil (not sopping oil) the slice bending just slightly. Because of how light and fluffy the slices were, we easily put away this entire pizza! The fried raviolis app were good also! Definitely coming back to try other things!

Still got it. Any pizza aficionado should make a point to visit at least once. Slice counter is next door to the restaurant. $2.50 a slice, cash only, no reheats (why?) but it doesn't matter because the pies are coming out hot and not sitting there. As fast as they come out they are disappearing. Years ago, I used to see city construction workers double park their trucks to run in and get a few slices for lunch. Follow the orange vest. Usually, I want mine crispy, so the guy not putting it back in the oven kind of threw me off for a second, but maybe it would have ruined the slice. Regular is the only one out. Thin slice, nice bubbles came up on the dough, standard sauce, thin layer of chewy mozz, good grease, it's looking good. Humble neighborhood and storefront, you got your counter and oven setup that has probably been there since Pleasant Ave one block over was an Italian neighborhood. No exposed brick and edison bulbs here, no over-described list of ingredients and instagram influencers. It's just a solid slice that still holds up after all these years. Get two.
